How we can Help

Children

Parents/carers

Children

We work with children by using a range of fun and practical activities indoors and out: such as painting with naturally sourced materials (mud is a favourite), art in nature, natural lego, pond dipping, digging, growing and dog walking.  Children engaging in this way provides them with the opportunity to communicate in a relaxed and safe environment.

Areas we can help include: anxiety, friendships, learning struggles, bullying, self-esteem, changing limiting beliefs, building confidence and resilience, transitions and phobias.

Teenagers

Parents/carers

Children

These times can be confusing and overwhelming as teenagers start to navigate their journey to adulthood.  These sessions will be very much tailored to suit individuals.  This can be by being adventurous and creative outdoors or in an inside, comfortable environment to work through:

anxiety, exam stress, friendships and relationships, low self esteem, limiting beliefs, building confidence and resilience, phobias, social media pressure, body image, coping with change and certain habits.

Parents/carers

Parents/carers

Being a parent or carer is of course wonderful and rewarding, but at the same time it can be one of the hardest challenges we face. There are times where we doubt our parenting skills and can feel at a loss with knowing how to support our children.  We can be in constant conflict with them and as a result have strained relationships. We might not understand where they are coming from and are confused as to why they just do not listen.  We can take it very personally, thinking our children do not like us or respect us as they say hurtful things to us.

We can work with you to coach you through these tricky emotions, setting goals to help achieve your desired outcomes.  By learning some simple techniques and have a better understanding of how to communicate with your children, you will become more equipped to face the everyday challenges of being a parent or carer.

Schools

Parents/carers

As well as offering one-to-one individual sessions to children and young people within schools, we also offer group workshops covering a variety of topics including: confidence, coping with exams, bullying, transitions and friendships.
If your school has a particular need, we can tailor the workshop according to the needs of the pupils.

Workshops usually last 45mins to 1 hour and take place during the school day. If you have an outdoor area, we will aim to utilise that space.
